Days of Tashreeq

The Days of Tashreeq follow Eid al-Adha and are days of eating, drinking, gratitude, and remembrance of Allah. Pilgrims complete important Hajj rites during these days. Ordinary voluntary fasting is prohibited.

Recommended actions

  • Increase dhikr and gratitude to Allah.
  • Recite the takbir after obligatory prayers according to the practice you follow.
  • Complete the udhiyah within its permitted time where applicable.
  • Do not observe an ordinary voluntary fast on these days.
